One Proud Mommy!!!

alittle late with this proud post but I have been busy doing a reno on our living/dining room upstairs and have been painting away....

Last Monday, May 4, 2009, Marissa was presented with the Catch the Spirit Award for Excellence in Catholic Education. It is the highest educational honour offered in our school board and I am so proud of her, I will get a better, centred photo from the school board of her being presented with the award
Marissa and her principal, thought it was nice he came too!

Using the Ants go Marching line, had a great visit with my girl Tina last weekend, thanks again for your hospitality, looking forward to Scrapfest on the 18th, and hanging out with Tina and Jennifer, always look forward to that!

I am so enjoying being back in the scrap game, I didn't realize how much I had missed it, now if I could just get someting published that would be a treat for sure!

I am so excited because this is a fun one!

So what I am supposed to do is:

i took this photo of Marissa shortly after getting my first Digi SLR and wanted to do something unique and cool with it, we headed down to where the trains are stored and she was so scared one was going to come and hit us, i kept saying,"do you really think Mommy would risk your life to get a picture?" it was cute!

Happy birthday to me.........

I turned the big 36 yesterday, I had a wonderful birthday, lots of family time, and lovely gifts, I am very blessed, life is good!!!

I hope to see 2 good friends this weekend, just trying to work out the details, I haven't seen my best girls in way too long!!!

Still waiting for the scrap goodness to come in the mail, Piggy Tales is waiting on the rubons, fingers crossed they come soon, my bit is almost chomped away ;) and my first Scrapping Bug DT kit should be in the mail this week as well, as I said life is good!!!

for my first kit to arrive from The Scrapping Bug, the peek that we were shown looks great and although I would love to share it with you all, I am sworn to secrecy, sorry ;) and if you are a fan of Vicki Boutin, like I am, she's a super sweet chick and I love hanigng out with her, it's funny, I saw you more Vic when you lived an hour away ;) she will be teaching at The Scrapping Bug later this month check out the details here

So thrilled to be able to say that I was asked to join the Scrapping Bug design team through an email I got this morning from Cherie the DT Cooirdinator!!! I can't wait to begin working on the February kit, the sneak peek looks great!!!
