A new layout

I created this layout using My Mind's Eye Abbey Road collection, I love their designs and this collection was one of my favourites. I've got a few more things I'm working on so look for those over the next few weeks :)

Where did January go?

I don't know about you but I am finding that time passes far to quickly, there are not enough hours in the day and enough time to do the things that we all enjoy most. Maybe its the fact that I have a baby in the house again, and had 10 years between him and my last baby, and somedays I still feel like a first time mom again. Today marks Justice turning 8 months old, he's getting so big, far to quickly! This milestone also means I have 4 months to get my dreams churning a strong reality so that I can stay home and do what I really love, be mommy to my 3 kids and capture the lives of others through my photography, if you haven't already checked out my new website, please do and let me know what you think. 6 months old

Time goes way to quickly. Can u believe its December 1 tomorrow. I still have more shopping to do than I'd like but tis the season of love and joy and I'm looking forward to Justice's first Christmas and how nice it's going to be.

Can't wait for Santa...

To come this year, he's bringing me this and some new cartridges to go with it. I'm just alittle excited lol

My first creations in 2 years....

Well it's been a week or so since I applied to the Doodlebug Designs team and I haven't heard anything so I figure I can share the creations I made for this call. I loved the Snips and Snails line, it was so perfect for photos of my líl man and I'm really pleased with how they turned out.

I sent in my application to Doodlebug Design, not holding my breath to be chosen but I had a great time creating my designs for this call. I have some great photos I plan to scrapbook this week so look for those later this week

Happy Halloween and a new look

I hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did, it was Justice's first Halloween, not that he knew any different, lol. I've changed the look of my blog and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Wish me luck, just a few more days until the Doodlebug Design Inc. call and tomorrow I plan to send in my application. Fingers crossed :)

Creativity abounds...

I have been finally creating, I would like to consider myself "on fire" lol. I made two layouts and a card yesterday. I am creating with the goal of trying out for the Doodlebug Design team, I'm doubting they'd pick me but I love their products and their new Snips and Snails line was perfect for scrapping some photos of Justice. I will post some photos soon.

My daughter painted my baby bump for Easter, I just loved how it turned out <3

Restocking the scrap cupboards...

Two years ago when i honestly felt I would never have the urge to create anything again I sold all of my scrapbooking supplies. And believe me there was TONNES, I have made a decision to buy only what I absolutely need and intend to use, but I am sure that that decision won't last long, lol.

It makes me sad to think I gave up something I so loved and enjoyed, but I really lost all desire for scrapbooking and now that I have a newfound sense of creativity and desire to get back into it, I just can't wait. I am working on the Scrapbook and Cards Today summer call right now and hoping they love my first creations in years. :)

First baby gift....

My soon to be mother in law and sister in law gave us our first baby gift on Sunday, they made an adorable blanket for him and gave us a sweet teddy bear and this cute lamb from Scentsy, it's Lenny the Lamb Scentsy buddy, you can buy packets of scent that zip into his back to keep your nursery smelling nice, I just love it!!!

Long time no blog....

I took some much needed me time to get life straightened out.

Got a divorce, met the love of my life and we are getting married and having a baby this spring.

Actually I shouldn't say met him, I've known him most of my life, since we were 8 or so actually, our dad's worked together and were friends, his mom used to take us for ice cream and I always had a wee crush on him as we grew up. We hadn't seen each other for many years and one day, not long after my separation, I ran into him and his son at a local petting zoo. We had a great day, our kids enjoyed playing together and we agreed we should catch up further. The rest they say is history. I couldn't be happier!!!

Keep an eye out for some new creative inspiration coming back, I finally have the urge to create back too!!
